The Credentialing and Certification Board (CCB) has been created to assist the CC of ETCO in the development, administration, scoring, analysis and accreditation of European Transplant Coordinators Certification (ETCC) examination.
CCB services also include the processing of examination applications and the reporting of scores to the candidates who take an examination.
The CCB are working actively to achieve recognition and support by the Council of Europe, different National Organizations, others European Universities, European Transplant Centers and others organizations abroad from Europe.
The CCB includes ETCO members and representatives of the European Universities and organizations that have offered academic support to the ETCO-ETCC project. The following institutions presently compose the CCB:
- ETCO - Certification Committee (Dr. Procaccio)
- University of Barcelona (Spain) (Dr. Paredes)
- University of Vienna (Austria) (Dr. Mühlbacher)
- University of Porto (Portugal) (Dr. Teixeira)
- European Organ Exchange Organizations (Dr. Persson)
More then 300 applicants from different European, American and Middle East countries have already received the European Transplant Coordinator Certification.
