ORGANS, TISSUES & CELLS is the official publication of ETCO (European Transplant Coordinators Organization) with the co-operation of other organizations (Deustsche Stiftung Orhantransplantation, Etablissement francais des Greffes, Hungarotransplant, Centro Nazionale Trapianti).

The journal has been published with this title from 1997 when it replaced the ETCO Newsletter. The journal publishes articles about organ and tissue donation, sharing and transplantation. Its goal is to offer a service to national ETCO projects, to follow clinical and research activities and to develop education, communication and ethical aspects concerning organs and tissues.

The journal is dedicated to scientific articles, announcements and service-news.
Everything involved with organs and tissues and their utilisation (organ transplantation or tissue implantation) can be a subject for the journal as well as leading and original contributions regarding the most recent research in the field.
